The city of The Hague was this years’ location for the Cyber Security Week, which took place from 25 to 29 September. During the 80 events of that week, around 3000 visitors and hundreds of cybersecurity and cybercrime experts from the government, business world and science came together to share their knowledge, the latest developments and to pitch new innovative ideas. With such a big event as the Cyber Security Week, the Netherlands – and The Hague – is positioning themselves as the Cyber Security Capital of Europe, where people and institutes are working together to guarantee international cybersecurity. During Cyber Security Week there were quite a few events in WTC The Hague, for example the international Cyberlympics Global Final, matchmaking programs and multiple seminars.
