AstraZeneca moves to WTC The Hague

AstraZeneca has sold its office block in Zoetermeer and will soon move to WTC The Hague. It has entered into a multiple year rental agreement for about 2,300 m².

Friday October 13th, the second edition of the magazine 'Den Haag INTO Business' was launched. This time, World Trade Center The Hague was on the cover. Den Haag INTO Business is an online and offline business magazine with the goal of bringing entrepreneurs together, so that they become aware of the fact that new business doesn't need to be far from home. By doing this, Den Haag INTO Business is taking part in stimulating the local economy.

On Wednesday October 4th a unique carsharing project will be kicked-off at the Beatrixkwartier. Whereas companies usually have their own fleet, CB&I, MN, WTC The Hague, Nationale Nederlanden and PostNL are taking the first step to explore sharing a fleet of cars. By taking a shared car during the day to get to your business meetings, we give you a chance to avoid rush hour traffic. For example, you could come to work by bike or public transport. Apart from saving you time, this is how we contribute to reducing congestion, delays and CO2 missions.

KARAMA opened their European headquarters in World Trade Center The Hague on 2 October 2017. Straight from Europe's leading security cluster The Hague Security Delta (HSD), located on the 13th floor of WTC The Hague, the KARAMA member fight for equal rights for men and women. KARAMA CEO Hibaaq Osman, together with The Hague's mayor Pauline Krikke, officially opened the new headquarters. Members of the government, cyber security entrepreneurs and brave activists were present during the festive opening.

The city of The Hague was this years’ location for the Cyber Security Week, which took place from 25 to 29 September. During the 80 events of that week, around 3000 visitors and hundreds of cybersecurity and cybercrime experts from the government, business world and science came together to share their knowledge, the latest developments and to pitch new innovative ideas.
