AstraZeneca moves to WTC The Hague

AstraZeneca has sold its office block in Zoetermeer and will soon move to WTC The Hague. It has entered into a multiple year rental agreement for about 2,300 m².

AstraZeneca, a science-led biopharmaceutical business, operates worldwide. AstraZeneca employs about 200 people in the Netherlands. The company carries out clinical tests on new medicines, provides information on its medicines and works very closely with all players in health care services to improve patient care.

After selling its building, AstraZeneca scouted for a new location with a high level of amenities in inspiring surroundings. These requirements came together in the office space on the 17th and 18th floors of the WTC The Hague.

WTC The Hague is located in The Hague’s Beatrixkwartier and is the centrally located meeting point for the business life of the Haaglanden region. Apart from office and conference facilities, WTC The Hague offers many hospitality and leisure facilities. The building is owned by Bouwinvest Office Fund and has recently been awarded Excellent by BREEAM-NL-In-Use.

AstraZeneca used the services of JLL in the sale of its building and the rental of its new offices. Nadorp real estate agent jointly negotiated the rental agreement with Cushman & Wakefield and CBRE on behalf of Bouwinvest Office Fund.
